Our live shows are fast-paced, interactive, and require someone who can think on their feet while keeping the momentum strong & vibes fun & entertaining. Responsibilities Host live plant sales on platforms (Instagram, Whatnot, Palmstreet, etc.) Engage with viewers in real-time—answering questions, acknowledging buyers, and keeping energy high Seamlessly manage multiple moving parts during a live (chat, inventory, pacing, showcasing plants) Pivot quickly if something isn't selling—grab new inventory, switch strategies, or create urgency on the fly Utilize different sales formats such as auctions vs fixed-price listings Create an engaging, entertaining experience that drives repeat buyers Assist in prepping plants for live shows (cleaning, staging, labeling) Track sold items and communicate clearly with fulfillment The Ideal Candidate This role requires a "waitress mindset"—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you're juggling multiple things at once without missing a beat. You might be a great fit if you: Can think creatively under pressure and pivot in real-time Are energized (not overwhelmed) by multitasking and constant interaction Know how to "read the room" and adjust your approach instantly Are comfortable filling dead air and keeping momentum going Can quickly switch between sales strategies when needed Qualifications Strong on-camera presence and communication skills Sales, serving, bartending, or other high-speed multitasking experience highly valued Basic plant knowledge (or willingness to learn quickly) Organized and reliable, even in a fast-moving environment Social media savvy is a plus Bonus Skills Experience with live-selling platforms Background in plants or horticulture Natural entertainer or strong personal brand presence Compensation [$22-$30/hr + commission] Performance-based bonuses tied to sales
