Duties Engage with customers both inside the showroom and through outside sales efforts to identify their flooring needs and preferences. Conduct detailed layout design and product demos using tools like SketchUp, CAD, or lighting design software to visualize options for clients. Build strong client relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Assist customers with remodeling projects by providing expert advice on flooring options, maintenance, and related fixtures. Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to deal closing, including POS transactions and cash handling. Maintain organized product displays, stock levels, and merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience. Use CRM systems proficiently to track leads, follow up with clients, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction sales with a focus on high-end products or remodeling projects. Strong technical skills including proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and POS software. Knowledge of flooring materials, interior design principles, lighting design, and layout planning is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Multilingual abilities are a plus to communicate with diverse client bases. Construction experience or background in renovation/remodeling enhances your ability to understand client needs deeply. Exceptional communication skills paired with organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently.
