About the Role In this position, you will work directly with customers, sales representatives, vendors, and the shop team to help quote projects, track vehicle activity, coordinate schedules, and provide timely updates. The ideal candidate is comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Office 365, communicates professionally, and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and excellent customer service. A $1.00 per hour increase is available after 90 days based on successful performance. What You'll Do The Retail Inside Counter Sales Associate plays an important role in keeping customers informed, supporting sales activity, and helping vehicle projects move smoothly from check-in through completion.

• Provide professional, friendly service to customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist showroom customers with equipment purchases and product questions.
• Prepare and send customer quotes, ensuring names, signatures, drawings, and instructions are complete before submission.
• Support customer accounts by quoting work, answering questions, and providing accurate vehicle status updates.
• Document vehicle arrivals, assist with inspections as needed, complete required forms, and follow established procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily updates in spreadsheets and internal tracking systems for vehicle activity and completed work.
• Coordinate with the shop team to help production stay on schedule and keep customers informed.
• Monitor material and equipment orders to support inventory and production needs.
• Verify received equipment against purchase orders and enter material receipts into the purchase order system.
• Coordinate vehicle shipment scheduling and notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Invoice completed vehicles for work performed, as needed.
• Assist outside sales representatives and team members with customer follow-up and project support.
• Help resolve customer service matters professionally and within company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work area for customers and coworkers. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who brings a customer-first attitude, strong organization, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy retail and office environment.
• 3-5 years of customer service, office, or retail sales experience preferred.
• Comfortable handling high-volume phone calls, emails, walk-in customers, and vendor communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Positive team player who works well with sales, shop, vendor, and customer contacts.
• Retail inside sales experience preferred; automotive, truck, van accessory, or upfitting experience is a plus.
• Able to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions.
