Job Summary We are seeking an organized, accurate, and dependable Order Processor/Data Entry professional for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Whittier, CA. This role supports a busy Sales team in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment within the electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing industry. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed administrative work, customer support, order entry, and keeping sales operations running smoothly. Success in this Order Processor/Data Entry role requires strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, clear communication, and the ability to work independently after training. Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter Sales Orders and Work Orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter quotations, RMAs, sales notes, and customer information into internal databases.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route callers to the appropriate person or department.
  • Assist Sales representatives with customer requests, follow-ups, emails, and administrative tasks.
  • Prioritize daily assignments and adjust to changing needs in a fast-paced, high-volume office.
  • Review data entry work for accuracy, identify errors, and correct issues before they impact customers or internal teams. Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $41,600 to $47,840 per year.

    Whittier, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Process Sales Orders, Work Orders, quotations, and RMAs with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain customer records, sales notes, and order information in company databases.
  • Support Sales representatives with customer inquiries, follow-up tasks, and administrative needs.
  • Manage multiple daily priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in data entry, order processing, sales support, administrative support, or customer service.
  • Strong data entry accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently after training.
  • Ability to identify errors, solve routine issues, and follow established procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a Sales team in a manufacturing, distribution, electronics, components, or semiconductor-related environment.
  • Experience entering sales orders, work orders, quotations, or RMAs.
  • Familiarity with customer databases, order entry systems, ERP systems, or CRM platforms.
  • Bilingual skills may be helpful in a customer-facing office environment.
