COMPENSATION
is hourly plus car sales compensation Farland Classic Restoration is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Collector & Exotic Car Sales Professional to join our established collector-car business in Englewood, Colorado. We are looking for someone who combines automotive sales experience, genuine enthusiasm for exceptional automobiles, strong digital and computer skills, and an exceptional ability to communicate and follow up with customers. This is not a traditional dealership sales position. We may end up with a 28-year old car nut in this job. Or a 58-year old luxury dealer who's ready to take a breath. Let us know if it's right for you. Our customers are often enthusiasts and collectors searching for very specific automobiles, and many of our sales begin—and may largely take place—through the internet, email, telephone and text. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing digital leads, responding quickly to online inquiries, researching vehicles and markets, maintaining organized customer follow-up, and using a variety of computer-based sales and communication tools. Our inventory includes classic and collectible Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari and other European and American sports cars from the 1960s through the 1980s, along with newer collectible automobiles—including modern Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis and other emerging enthusiast vehicles. The Position The ideal candidate will be capable of taking a prospective customer from an initial online inquiry all the way through a completed sale. This requires excellent communication, persistence, attention to detail and the ability to establish trust with customers who may be purchasing a significant automobile without ever initially seeing it in person. This is a true self-starter job. The position offers a flexible schedule, with the ability to work remotely part of the time. However, the successful candidate should live in the Denver metropolitan area and be available to meet customers, show vehicles, assist with deliveries and maintain a professional presence in our beautifully appointed 5,000-square-foot sales facility.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has proven experience in automotive, luxury, collector-car or other high-value sales Is genuinely knowledgeable about and enthusiastic about automobiles Is computer savvy and comfortable (or willing to learn) working with digital sales tools, websites, email, CRM/customer databases and online marketplaces Understands that digital sales and internet leads are a major part of today's collector-car business Responds promptly and professionally to leads by telephone, email and text Is exceptionally organized and disciplined about customer follow-up Can research vehicles, specifications, history and market values using online resources Has the ability to communicate the story and appeal of an automobile—not simply its specifications Is comfortable working independently and managing multiple prospective buyers at different stages of the sales process Is persistent without being pushy and understands the importance of building long-term relationships Presents a professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy image to customers Has the flexibility to work both independently from home and in person at our Englewood facility Compensation Completely depends on experience - and drive. Just to post, we are listing at $25/hr for full time, then 25% commission on the net profit of each vehicle sold. However, all compensation is up for discussion. The commission is calculated from the profit remaining after applicable vehicle costs, administrative expenses and work performed by Farland Classic Restoration have been deducted. There is meaningful upside for an exceptional salesperson who consistently develops leads, closes transactions and builds long-term customer relationships. About Farland Classic Restoration Farland Classic Restoration has been a Colorado automotive institution for 35 years, beginning in 1991 as a local detailing business and growing into a nationally recognized restoration, sales and collector-car operation. We specialize in exceptional automobiles and take pride in presenting our cars at a level that reflects the quality of the vehicles themselves. The successful candidate will become an important part of that customer experience—from the first digital inquiry through the delivery of the automobile. If you are an experienced automotive sales professional who loves collector cars, understands today's digital sales environment, and wants to work with some of the most interesting automobiles in the country, we'd like to hear from you.
