Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated In-Home Sales Representative to join our team. This energetic role involves engaging with customers directly in their homes to showcase our products and services, build lasting relationships, and drive high-end sales. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, skilled in sales techniques, and eager to contribute to our company's growth through effective communication and technical expertise. Duties Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present tailored solutions for remodeling, renovation, lighting design, or fixture upgrades. Demonstrate product features through engaging demos, including lighting systems, fixtures, and interior design elements. Utilize CAD or SketchUp for layout design and space planning to help clients visualize their projects. Negotiate pricing, upsell additional products or services, and close sales efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction. Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, attentive service, and follow-up to ensure project success. Manage sales documentation using CRM systems and POS tools; handle cash or credit transactions accurately. Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution and ongoing customer support. Experience Proven outside sales experience with a focus on high-end or construction-related products. Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, or lighting design tools is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity. Construction experience or background in remodeling, fixture sales, or renovation projects is preferred. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and organizational skills for managing multiple clients. Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, and basic math skills for accurate quoting and billing.
