Job Description
Avia Flight Academy is seeking a highly motivated, personable, and results-driven Student Enrollment Advisor to join our growing team. Overview This is a sales-focused position responsible for converting prospective student inquiries into enrolled students. The Student Enrollment Advisor will serve as one of the first points of contact for individuals considering flight training at Avia Flight Academy and will guide prospective students from their initial inquiry through enrollment. The ideal candidate is confident speaking with prospective students and families, comfortable following up consistently, skilled at identifying needs and overcoming objections, and motivated by achieving enrollment and sales goals. Aviation experience is helpful but not required. Strong sales ability, communication skills, organization, and follow-through are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to new leads received through phone, website inquiries, email, social media, events, and other marketing channels.
- Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls with prospective students.
- Qualify prospective students by understanding their aviation goals, timeline, training needs, and readiness to enroll.
- Clearly explain Avia Flight Academy's flight training programs, career pathways, training structure, pricing, and enrollment process.
- Build relationships with prospective students and families and guide them confidently through the decision-making process.
- Maintain consistent and strategic follow-up with leads throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify and address questions, concerns, and objections that may prevent a prospective student from enrolling.
- Schedule and conduct academy tours, consultations, and other prospective-student appointments.
- Present the value of training at Avia Flight Academy and confidently ask prospective students for their enrollment.
- Convert qualified leads into enrolled students and work toward established individual and company enrollment goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed lead activity, follow-up notes, pipeline stages, and outcomes in the CRM.
- Track leads throughout the enrollment funnel and ensure opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
- Re-engage older or inactive leads when appropriate.
- Coordinate with flight operations, instructors, administration, and management to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to enrolled student.
- Participate in open houses, career fairs, community events, aviation events, and other student recruitment initiatives.
- Provide feedback to management regarding common prospect questions, objections, competitor activity, and opportunities to improve the enrollment process. Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, admissions, enrollment, customer success, account management, or another client-facing sales role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, communicate value, overcome objections, and close sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and professional communicating by phone, email, text, and in person.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently with prospective students.
- Highly organized and able to manage a pipeline of prospects at different stages of the decision-making process.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable sales and enrollment goals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate CRM records.
- Ability to learn flight training programs, terminology, requirements, and career pathways.
- Aviation or flight-training experience is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for helping prospective students pursue their aviation goals while maintaining a professional, consultative sales approach.
- Ability to safely enter and exit small aircraft when conducting tours.
- Some evening and weekend availability may be required for tours, events, and prospective-student appointments.
