Job Description

Overview We are looking for Business Development Specialists - Hunters to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and succeed! We will provide paid training for this role consisting of customer service, outbound telephone calls to new and existing business customers, and building rapport for the purpose of promoting and upselling our products and services through daily email communication. Must be computer savvy with an attention to detail, excellent grammar, and email etiquette! If you are an individual with a "Will do! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains a book of business and builds rapport with new and existing clients through outbound calls and emails. Inform customers of our new products and services available. Good written and Verbal communication skills. Possesses a good understanding of Microsoft Outlook and communicates effectively with customers via email. Educates the customer on competitive pricing information and assists the customer with comparing and contrasting services. Sells the value of our products and services by properly aligning their features, benefits, and price with the needs of our customers. Upsell to customers, as necessary. Must meet the minimum requirement of 150 outbound calls per day. Must meet the minimum requirement of 15 quotes submissions per month. Must build positive relationships with clients while adhering to the company's policies and regulations. Assist customers with issues pertaining to their account via email/phone. Acts as the product consultant, explaining product features and benefits and making recommendations based on customer needs and interests. Negotiating prices within margins Exercises sound judgment within the scope of their empowerment and acts in the best interest of both the customer and W.B. Mason. Relates well to the customer and demonstrates a favorable image of W.B. Mason through effective use of soft skills (including active listening, problem-solving, and probing techniques), professional communications, and internal/external customer interactions. Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Other duties as requested by management. M-F 8-5 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Previous phone sales experience preferred, but not mandatory Excellent spoken and written communication abilities; great interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and capable of managing multiple tasks Strong work ethic Must be able to effectively communicate on the phone Must be comfortable with computer and can easily learn new programs/technology Must be able to work assigned work schedule (AM/PM) and attend all training schedules Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
