Florida, with a focus on the state's key agricultural production areas Reports to: Business International Manager ABOUT DÜNGER Dünger specializes in the development and commercialization of specialty fertilizers, biostimulants, and innovative plant nutrition solutions. The company is expanding its presence in the United States, with a particular focus on the agricultural markets of Florida and California.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing Dünger's business in Florida through a consultative, technical sales approach targeting growers, crop consultants, distributors, and other relevant agricultural industry partners. The primary objective of this position is to generate demand, introduce Dünger's product portfolio, build long-term customer relationships, and demonstrate product performance through agronomic recommendations, field demonstrations, and commercial trials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

⁠ ⁠Identify, prospect, and develop new customers within the assigned territory. ⁠ ⁠Conduct regular visits to growers, farms, nurseries, crop consultants, and distributors. ⁠ ⁠Deliver technical presentations on Dünger's specialty fertilizers, biostimulants, and plant nutrition solutions. ⁠ ⁠Assess crop production and nutritional needs and recommend appropriate products and application programs. ⁠ ⁠Design, coordinate, and monitor field trials and demonstration plots. ⁠ ⁠Document trial results through photographs, application records, crop evaluations, and technical reports. ⁠ ⁠Convert successful field results into commercial opportunities and recurring sales. ⁠ ⁠Develop relationships with distributors and provide technical and commercial training to their teams. ⁠ ⁠Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, sales forecasts, and territory development plans. ⁠ ⁠Follow up on customers, sales opportunities, orders, and account activity. ⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of visits, prospects, trials, and opportunities in the company's CRM system. ⁠ ⁠Monitor market conditions, pricing, competitors, and trends affecting the territory's major crops. ⁠ ⁠Represent Dünger at trade shows, grower meetings, field days, and industry events. ⁠ ⁠Coordinate activities with Dünger's technical, commercial, logistics, and regulatory teams. ⁠ ⁠Achieve the company's sales, profitability, customer acquisition, and market-development objectives.

⁠ ⁠Berries, including strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. ⁠ ⁠Vegetable crops. ⁠ ⁠Citrus. ⁠ ⁠Tropical crops. ⁠ ⁠Ornamentals, nurseries, and greenhouse production. ⁠ ⁠Other high-value crops grown in Florida.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, Crop Science, or a related field. ⁠ ⁠At least three years of technical sales experience involving fertilizers, biostimulants, biological products, crop-protection products, or agricultural inputs. ⁠ ⁠Practical knowledge of plant nutrition, fertigation, foliar applications, and crop management. ⁠ ⁠Experience working directly with growers and conducting field visits. ⁠ ⁠Ability to identify technical needs and convert them into commercial opportunities. ⁠ ⁠Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up, and closing skills. ⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and effectively manage a sales territory. ⁠ ⁠Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Florida. ⁠ ⁠Valid driver's license and reliable ability to travel within the assigned territory. ⁠ ⁠Current authorization to work in the United States. ⁠ ⁠Proficiency with digital tools, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems. ⁠ ⁠Fluent English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

⁠ ⁠Agricultural sales experience in the Florida market. ⁠ ⁠An established network of growers, crop consultants, nurseries, or agricultural distributors. ⁠ ⁠Experience with berries, vegetables, citrus, ornamentals, or other high-value crops. ⁠ ⁠Knowledge of specialty plant nutrition products, micronutrients, seaweed extracts, amino acids, humic substances, and biostimulants. ⁠ ⁠Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. ⁠ ⁠Relevant professional certifications or agricultural licenses applicable in Florida.
