Role:
The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a critical role in driving company revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction by managing inbound and outbound sales communications. This position focuses on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs effectively. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams to coordinate order processing, resolve issues, and maintain accurate customer records. Success in this position results in increased sales, enhanced customer loyalty, and streamlined service delivery. Ultimately, the Inside Sales / CSR Representative acts as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the sales cycle.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a B2B sales environment or technical product knowledge relevant to the industry. Familiarity with order management systems and sales analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to upsell and cross-sell products or services. Additional language skills to support diverse customer bases. Customer service certification or sales training credentials.Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to maximize sales opportunities. Process orders accurately and efficiently while coordinating with inventory and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery. Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system to track interactions and sales progress. Resolve customer complaints and issues by collaborating with internal teams to provide effective solutions. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics. Assist in generating sales reports and provide feedback to management on customer trends and potential improvements.Skills:
The required communication skills enable the representative to clearly understand customer needs and articulate product benefits, fostering trust and rapport. Proficiency with CRM and order management systems ensures accurate tracking of customer interactions and efficient processing of sales orders.
