Full-Time | Inside Sales / Quotation Specialist About Precision Hose & Expansion Joints Precision Hose & Expansion Joints is a manufacturer and supplier specializing in metal hose, metal hose assemblies, expansion joints, and related industrial products. We work with customers across a variety of industrial applications where product quality, technical accuracy, responsiveness, and dependable service are critical. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Stone Mountain, Georgia facility. This position will focus heavily on quoting metal hose and metal hose assemblies , working directly with customers and our internal team to determine requirements, prepare accurate quotations, and follow opportunities through to order. Position Overview The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically minded salesperson who enjoys working with customers and solving application and product questions. You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, interpreting specifications and drawings, determining the appropriate metal hose and assembly configuration, preparing quotations, and following up to help convert quotes into orders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in industrial sales, inside sales, project management, estimating, quoting, hose products, fittings, piping components, or engineered industrial products . Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email. Review customer specifications, drawings, and application requirements. Determine the appropriate metal hose, braid, fittings, end connections, length, and assembly configuration. Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for metal hose and metal hose assemblies. Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements and recommend appropriate products. Follow up on quotations and identify opportunities to win new and repeat business. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Work closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and management to ensure quoted products can be manufactured and delivered as specified. Enter and maintain customer and quotation information in the company's systems. Assist customers with product questions, lead times, pricing, and order status. Identify opportunities to cross-sell related products and services. Maintain organized records of quotes, customer communications, and follow-up activities. Help identify potential problems or inconsistencies in customer specifications before an order is placed. Develop increasing knowledge of metal hose products, applications, industry standards, and manufacturing capabilities.

What We're Looking For Required:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to understand and work with technical product information. Strong math and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple quotations and customer requests simultaneously. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Preferred:

Inside sales or estimating experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Experience with metal hose, flexible hose, fittings, piping, expansion joints, or related products. Industrial distribution or manufacturing sales experience. Ability to read basic engineering drawings or product specifications. Experience preparing custom or engineered-product quotations. Mechanical or technical background. The Ideal Candidate The right person for this position doesn't necessarily need to be an expert in metal hose on day one.
