A Car or Vehicle Sales Representative develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, customer prospecting, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions, and explaining warranties and services. Demonstrates vehicles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, features, and product testing. Understands vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features, comparing and contrasting competitive models, and inspecting vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Customer-focused in order to meet customer needs through effective communication, problem-solving, and service quality improvements
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, client outreach, and relationship building
- Monitor sales performance to create reports and provide information and recommendations to senior leadership
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed
- Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure seamless execution of bulk transportation and aggregate sales
Requirements:
- Business and/or related sales experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor and appearance
- Great can-do attitude
- Experience in the truck industry and/or bulk freight and transportation
- Experience in limestone and hard rock aggregate sales preferred; however, sales experience in construction or industrial related industries will be considered
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
