Sales Manager, Account Management Position Summary Rensa Filtration is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to manage and grow an assigned book of business. This is a phone-forward sales position focused on developing customer relationships, re-engaging inactive accounts, uncovering new opportunities, and expanding revenue across Rensa's filtration products and brands. The representative will own customer outreach, discovery, follow-up, opportunity development, and pipeline management. HubSpot will serve as the primary system for documenting activity and managing next steps. The representative will work closely with Customer Service Representatives, product specialists, operations, and leadership to deliver a strong customer experience. Key Responsibilities Proactively contact assigned customers and inactive accounts by phone and email. Build relationships with purchasing contacts, facility managers, maintenance teams, and other decision-makers. Understand customer applications, purchasing patterns, challenges, and upcoming needs. Identify cross-selling, reordering, reactivation, and account-growth opportunities. Qualify opportunities and move them toward a clear next step. Schedule customer meetings and product discussions. Route quote requests to the appropriate CSR and provide complete customer and application information. Follow up on quotes, address objections, and help move opportunities to a decision. Maintain accurate notes, tasks, contacts, opportunities, and next-activity dates in HubSpot. Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline tied to measurable revenue opportunities. Coordinate with customer service, product specialists, pricing, operations, and leadership. Escalate customer service, credit, pricing, or delivery concerns when appropriate. Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and daily team discussions. Meet established activity, pipeline, customer-coverage, and revenue expectations. Required Qualifications Previous experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or B2B customer service Confidence making outbound calls and initiating customer conversations Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple customers, tasks, quotes, and follow-up dates Experience using a CRM to document activity and manage opportunities Strong organization, time-management, and follow-through Ability to ask effective discovery questions and identify customer needs Comfortable being measured against activity, pipeline, and revenue goals Coachable, accountable, and willing to work within a defined sales process Preferred Qualifications Experience with HubSpot Experience in air filtration, HVAC, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sales Experience managing and growing an existing customer book Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate combines the relationship skills of an account manager with the initiative of a salesperson. They are comfortable picking up the phone, creating opportunities, staying organized, and following through until the customer makes a decision. They understand that every customer interaction should result in a clear next step.
