Outside Sales Representative - Audio Visual & Integrated Technology Solutions Pentegra Systems LLC, a Mechdyne company | Naperville, Illinois Are you a true hunter who loves opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business? Pentegra Systems LLC, a Mechdyne company, is looking for an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to help grow our presence across the Chicagoland market. We are a full-service systems integrator delivering turnkey audio, video, network infrastructure, security, and telecom solutions for organizations that need technology to work together seamlessly on one IP network. This is a great opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, creating new customer relationships, and partnering with technical experts to bring practical, cost-effective solutions to life. Based in Naperville, Pentegra Systems supports clients across a wide variety of industries including education, healthcare, houses of worship, professional services, manufacturing, government, hospitality, and more. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new accounts within your assigned sales territory and build a strong pipeline of opportunities Act as a hunter , establishing new-name customers for the business and engaging prospects through written, verbal, and face-to-face communication Learn and represent Pentegra Systems' integrated solutions across audio, video, data/network infrastructure, security, and telecom Collaborate with the broader Pentegra team and subject matter experts to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that align with client objectives Participate in presentations, proposal development, and quote preparation for prospects and customers Stay current on company offerings through product training and ongoing learning Use sales tools to maintain sales-call activity and forecast data Consistently work to exceed company sales goals and objectives tied to the position Support additional sales-related initiatives as assigned by leadership What a Typical Day Can Look Like Your day may include outbound prospecting, following up with leads, scheduling in-person meetings, learning more about a customer's facility or business goals, working with internal experts to shape a solution, and helping move opportunities forward through presentations, proposals, and quotes. Because Pentegra Systems serves clients with integrated solutions across multiple technologies, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative conversations and uncovering opportunities where audio, video, security, telecom, and network infrastructure can come together to solve real business problems. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree (Nice to have but not required) Excellent business sense, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills Proactive, driven, independent mindset with the ability to also be a strong team player Strong interpersonal and communication skills Time management, organization, and a highly proactive work ethic Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, email tools, and social networking tools is a plus Why Join Pentegra Systems? Salary Range:
$55k - $105k per year depending on experience and qualifications.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
