Budget Blinds of South Bend, Mishawaka/Granger, Elkhart and St. Joseph is hiring an In-Home Sales / Window Treatment Design Consultant. We are a family-owned local business serving the Michiana area for more than 20 years. We design and sell custom blinds, shades, shutters and drapery for residential and commercial clients.

COMPENSATION

Uncapped commission opportunity. On average, our Design Consultants earn about $120,000 per year.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Meet clients in their homes, understand their needs, and design custom window-treatment solutions. Consult on blinds, shades, shutters and drapery, including style, light control, privacy, energy efficiency and budget. Measure, prepare quotes, present solutions, and close sales. Guide each client from consultation through ordering, deposits and follow-up using our CRM. Build referral relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven in-home sales experience is strongly preferred. Window-treatment experience is a major plus. A confident, consultative closer with excellent listening, presentation and follow-through skills. Design, remodeling, construction, home-improvement or fixture-sales experience is helpful. Comfortable learning product details, taking measurements and using a ladder as needed. Organized, dependable and comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; weekend availability as needed.
