Regional Sales Representative Louisville, KY | Full-Time | $75,000-$85,000/year Shape a safer world. Summary The Regional Sales Representative grows revenue and expands DENIOS's market presence within an assigned territory by consulting with industrial clients on hazardous material storage, spill containment, and environmental compliance challenges. This is a technical consultative sales role. Success depends on understanding a customer's chemical handling environment, identifying the right DENIOS solution, and guiding the customer through a compliant, well-specified purchase. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Territory Development :
Identify and convert new B2B accounts across manufacturing, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, automotive, and industrial distribution sectors. Build a qualified pipeline through prospecting, referrals, trade events,Consultative Technical Selling :
Conduct on-site needs assessments to evaluate customers' chemical storage, flammable liquid handling, secondary containment, and thermal management requirements.Regulatory & Solution Guidance :
Recommend compliant DENIOS solutions aligned with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local environmental and fire safety codes.Sales Cycle and Account Management:
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract close, maintaining accurate pipeline data in the CRM. Collaborate with product specialists to produce custom proposals, technical specifications, and price quotations. Deliver reliable monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers: EHS managers, manufacturing engineers, facility directors, plant managers, and procurement leads. Serve as a trusted advisor on evolving compliance requirements, helping customers anticipate regulatory changes before they become problems. QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Experience:
3 to 5 or more years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in technical equipment, industrial products, material handling, environmental compliance solutions, or safety equipment.- Technical aptitude: Comfortable reading technical drawings, interpreting OSHA and EPA standards, and understanding industrial facility layouts.
Travel:
Approximately 75% regional travel within the assigned territory; 25% in-office or remote work.Software:
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding regional sales quotas in a technical or industrial sales environment.
- Prior experience selling to EHS professionals, manufacturing engineers, or facility operations teams.
- Familiarity with hazardous material storage regulations (OSHA, NFPA 30, EPA
SPCC, RCRA
) or the ability to develop that knowledge quickly.- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Compensation & Travel Benefits
