JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE

Responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective clients. This role plays a critical part in the company's growth strategy by focusing on the acquisition of new net logos—prospective customers with whom the company does not yet have a business relationshi p in addition to identifying new opportunities in existing accounts. Wo rking closely with the sales and marketing teams, the BDR conducts outreach, builds relationships, and sets qualified appointments to support the overall sales pipeline.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Research and identify target companies and key decision-makers using a variety of prospecting tools and techniques. Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, social media) to engage potential customers and articulate the value proposition. Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine sales-readiness and appropriate fit. Set appointments and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team. Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions and lead information in the CRM system. Collaborate with marketing to support campaign execution and lead follow-up. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product/service offerings. Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of initiative and a persistent, goal-driven mindset. Basic understanding of the sales process and customer journey. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable with high-volume outreach and engaging with prospective clients via phone and digital platforms.
