Job Description

I. Position Summary Develop sales to new and existing accounts, and act as the primary company representative to customers. (Please note that the Essential Functions listed below vary by individual True World Foods location). II. Duties and Responsibilities 1) Customer Service Regularly interact with customers to provide information about product availability, quality, and prices, by visiting, calling, texting or emailing during the day or evening. Offer new products and services to customers as they become available. Notify customers for order shortage, no availability, quality issue, price change or substitutes. Display or demonstrates product, using flyers, samples or catalog, and emphasizes sellable features. Identify items which customers have stopped buying and try to re-introduce. Respond to customers' complaints and resolve customer concerns, and provide good advices to customer's business. Perform emergency delivery to customer when there is no any other source available. 2) Prospecting New Business Prospect for new customers and guides new customers through the credit application process. Provide new customer orientation to train them how to do business with TWF and TWF's strong points (Food Safety/HACCP, high quality and reliability, etc.). Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activity. Participate in company's marketing exhibitions and events by attending trade shows, producing promotional flyers, social media postings, etc. 3) Internal Operation Participate in morning processing and check quantity and quality for customers as needed. Prepare daily action plans and schedules to identify specific target items and to project the number of contacts to be made and submit daily sales reports. Regularly interact with purchasing, delivery, production, and customer service personnel to exchange information about customer's needs, product pricing and other sales management issues. Regularly attend department and cross-function meetings to address sales and service issues. Perform daily HACCP & sanitation related tasks as required. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Submit expense reimbursement request monthly. Maintain company vehicle if applicable. 4) Accounts Receivable Monitor customer payments (including short or skipped payments) and ensures that customers' payments and credit are in good standing. Visit customers for collection as needed. Find a customer's product return reason and submit a credit memo request, train the customer our business policy if necessary. Regularly attach an invoice statement with an invoice or bring it to customers. Perform other duties as assigned. IV. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience. Experience in giving presentations or providing customer service or other persuasion activities Valid driver license and clean driving record. Fluent in English/ Chinese written and verbal communication. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. V. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of restaurant business and the products used by restaurants. Knowledge of all products sold by TWF and how to handle them. Knowledge of operational personnel, processes, and schedules. Knowledge of delivery routes and restaurant locations. Skill in operating company vehicles and computers and related devices. Skill in discerning seafood species and their qualities. Ability to communicate well and with different company departments. Ability to maintain a courteous demeanor always towards customers, co-workers and supervisors. VI. Work Environment Work irregular shifts. Subject to outdoor weather conditions and refrigerated process areas, slippery floors. Physical Effort Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently (May vary by location
