No phone calls please. About the Studio Towne Pride Interiors, in collaboration with Cornerstone Design Partners, is opening a new design studio in the heart of Downtown Westminster. The studio is designed to be more than a showroom. It will be a welcoming, approachable place where clients can explore flooring, fabrics, finishes, furnishings, window treatments and design ideas — with knowledgeable guidance to help bring it all together. The Interior Design Studio Coordinator will be an integral member of the Westminster Design Studio team, supporting both Towne Pride Interiors and Cornerstone Design Partners in creating an exceptional client experience. We are looking for someone who will help us create that experience from the moment a client walks through the door. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who is organized, personable, design-minded and comfortable balancing customer service, sales, project coordination and the everyday details that keep a small studio running beautifully. The Role The Interior Design Studio Coordinator will work closely with Towne Pride Interiors and Cornerstone Design Partners to support the daily operation of the Westminster studio. You will often be the first person a client meets, which means this role is an important part of both the client experience and the personality of the studio. Some days may involve helping a client begin a flooring selection. Others may include preparing samples for a design appointment, coordinating with vendors, following up on proposals, helping prepare for an event, updating the CRM or simply making sure the studio is ready and welcoming for the next person who walks through the door. We are a growing business, so we are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership rather than waiting to be handed a checklist. What You'll Do Client Experience & Studio Coordination Welcome clients and visitors to the studio and create a warm, professional experience. Learn about client needs and help determine the appropriate next step — flooring assistance, design consultation, product selection or scheduling with the designer. Schedule consultations, appointments and follow-up conversations. Maintain client information, project notes and follow-up activities within the studio's CRM/project management system. Answer and route studio phone calls, emails and inquiries. Help ensure every client receives timely communication and follow-through. Design & Selection Support Assist with pulling and organizing flooring, fabric, finish and material samples for client appointments. Maintain the studio's sample library and product displays. Return samples and keep materials organized, labeled and current. Help prepare presentation materials, mood boards and selection information as needed. Assist clients with preliminary product exploration while recognizing when a decision should be referred to the Interior Designer. Develop familiarity with the products and resources represented in the studio. Flooring & Product Sales Support Learn Towne Pride Interiors' flooring products, processes and sales systems. Assist clients with flooring selections and coordinate measurements, estimates and next steps with the Towne Pride team. Follow up with prospective clients and outstanding proposals. Support product sales and referrals involving flooring, window treatments, furnishings and other studio offerings. Track sales opportunities and help ensure leads do not fall through the cracks. Studio Operations Help manage the day-to-day operation and appearance of the studio. Keep displays, work surfaces, client areas and sample resources organized and presentation-ready. Coordinate vendor literature, samples and product updates. Assist with receiving and organizing studio materials and deliveries. Maintain basic office and studio supplies. Support opening and closing procedures and general studio readiness. Marketing, Events & Community Engagement Assist with studio events, open houses, workshops and community activities. Help capture photos and content from studio activities and completed displays. Support basic social media and marketing activities as directed. Become familiar with Downtown Westminster and help build relationships with neighboring businesses and community partners. Represent Towne Pride Interiors and Cornerstone Design Partners professionally in the community. Tracking & Reporting Maintain accurate client, lead and sales activity within studio systems. Track appointments, follow-ups and outstanding action items. Support basic sales and studio activity reporting. Maintain accurate time and project records when applicable. Comfortable learning new software and technology. Professional, dependable and able to work independently. Excited about helping build something new. Experience & Skills We value the right person and attitude as much as a specific resume. Experience in one or more of the following would be helpful: Interior design or decorating Flooring, furniture, cabinetry or home furnishings Showroom or retail sales Hospitality or high-touch customer service Project or office coordination Real estate, construction or home improvement Visual merchandising An interior design degree is not required for this position. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Canva, CRM/project management platforms or similar technology is a plus. Training on studio-specific products and systems will be provided. What Success Looks Like The right person will help create a studio where: Clients feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Appointments and follow-ups happen when they should. Samples and resources are easy to find. Sales opportunities are actively followed. Designers can spend more time designing and less time chasing administrative details. Towne Pride and Cornerstone clients experience one coordinated team. The studio always feels intentional, organized and ready for business. And, perhaps most importantly, you will gradually begin to know our clients, our products and our community well enough to confidently take ownership of the studio experience. Schedule & Compensation This is an in-person position based in Downtown Westminster, Maryland . The position will include a regular studio schedule with some flexibility required for client appointments, special events and occasional evening or weekend activities.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly compensation plus opportunity for performance-based incentives/commission related to applicable studio sales. Specific schedule and compensation will be discussed based on experience and the final structure of the position.
