About the Position We are looking for a reliable and motivated Showroom Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate to join our team at our commercial kitchen equipment showroom and warehouse in Wyandotte, MI. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist walk-in customers in our showroom and sell commercial kitchen equipment. When there are no customers, the employee will also assist with basic showroom and warehouse duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong communication skills, and is interested in sales. Responsibilities Welcome and assist walk-in customers in our showroom Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable commercial kitchen equipment Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and warranty information Prepare quotes and process customer orders Answer customer questions in person and over the phone Follow up with customers regarding quotes and orders Assist customers with warehouse pickup orders Maintain a clean and organized showroom Help organize and move products in the warehouse when needed Prepare products for customer pickup Assist with basic inventory and product organization Perform other general showroom and warehouse duties as needed Qualifications Previous sales, retail, showroom, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone Able to learn product specifications and explain products clearly Basic computer skills Reliable, responsible, and punctual Self-motivated and able to work independently Able to lift and move boxes/equipment when necessary Commercial kitchen equipment experience is a plus, but training will be provided Preferred Skills Sales experience Customer service experience Experience with commercial kitchen equipment Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus Experience with Shopify, Amazon, or other e-commerce platforms is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable talking to customers.
