Description Job Summary:
As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for finding sales leads and working in direct cooperation with a specified sales representative. You will also provide occasional clerical support when necessary.
Essential Functions:
Research a given state or region using available methods of information including, but not limited to, the internet, phone books, reference books and lists, as well as direct phone conversations. Once a prospect is determined, make direct phone contact with the organization to build their interest in receiving information about doing a Donning book/fundraising project. Gather printed collateral and supporting material as well as a sample book and send the book and accompanying information to the prospect as a potential lead. Keep accurate and organized records of all communication with Project Directors and potential leads including dates, times, conversation notes, samples sent, and regional information. Support your specified Project Director with supplies, collateral, and samples. Also coordinate your research efforts with the travel plans of your Project Director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects. Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis. Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position. Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills. Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
