Commission Job Description:

Your Piece of the Puzzle As NFM's Electronics System Designer you will sell products to builders, architects, associations, property management, healthcare facilities, schools and churches.

Job Duties:

A Day in the

Life Compile:

 Create lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, web sites and other sources

Communicate:

Regularly visits customers, returns phone calls, coordinates orders and installations and takes the lead in problem resolutions

Demonstrate:

 Show product using samples or catalog and present features and benefits

Collaborate:

Develops effective relationships with builders, architects, associations and end users

Maintain:

Writes sales orders, coordinates deliveries and attends all necessary NFM exhibitions, including parade of homes and home shows

Travel:

 Explore assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders

Qualifications:

Can You Check These Boxes? High school diploma or GED preferred 3 years outside sales experience Clear understanding of distributed (whole house) audio and video technologies Become CEDIA Designer Level 1 certified within 18 months Ability to read blueprints and specification books within 3-6 months on the job Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Microsoft office. Must be able to learn and use proposal software and CRM software as directed Proofreading skills and attention to detail Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
