Job Description
SUMMARY Independently identifies, acquires and maintains new customer, loan, and deposit relationships in accordance with established goals and objectives. Proactive outreach efforts include, but are not limited to: outbound phone calling, business development event and meeting attendance and active participation, along with developing and maintaining a network of contacts to serve as a recurring source of business referrals. Develops, organizes, implements, and provides measurement reporting for ongoing sales activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Complies with all Eagle Bank policies, procedures, performance and cultural standards and expectations, as well as state and federal regulations. Grows Eagle Bank's deposit base and loan portfolio by identifying and procuring new, profitable deposit and loan customers/relationships. Generates qualified referrals for residential, commercial and consumer loans in accordance with budgeted goals and objectives. Qualified referrals are those that result in an application/financials being submitted. Utilizes the Bank's information systems and other online resources to generate customer calling lists, track/communicate business development activities, referrals and prospects. Maintains proficient working knowledge of all Bank products and services. Monitors competitor products and services, and provides input for new product/service development. Interfaces with retail bank management, commercial/residential lending and commercial credit to ensure ongoing and appropriate communication to support overall business objectives. Represents the Bank through visible leadership involvement in various community, civic and industry related events and activities from which business development results can be achieved.

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, stress and/or unexpected events. Proficient use of computers and technology required (i.e. Internet, PCs, tablets, smartphones, MS Office, electronic banking, etc.). Minimum two years' sales experience with proven results required; banking industry preferred. Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language required. Excellent networking, attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking, follow-through, interpersonal, communication, public speaking and presentation skills required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate orally and in writing, alphabetize and collate. Ability to proofread and check documents for accuracy. Ability to enter words and data into a computer. Ability to lift supply boxes and bend/reach to file records. The essential job functions for this position may be performed remotely at Management's discretion.
