Position Summary CVR is seeking a motivated, creative, and results-oriented Marketing & Business Development Intern to support the organization's marketing, communications, customer outreach, and business development efforts. This internship provides hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, lead generation, customer relationship management, and sales support. The successful candidate will help expand awareness of CVR's mission while supporting the growth of our document scanning and digitization services. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, business development, or sales. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Create, schedule, and manage content across CVR's social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital channels. Develop engaging content that highlights CVR's programs, services, mission, employee success stories, and community impact. Monitor social media activity and respond to messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials. Track and report on social media engagement and marketing performance. Lead Management & Customer Relations Monitor incoming inquiries from phone calls, website forms, email, and social media platforms. Follow up with prospective customers, community partners, and referral sources. Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and follow-up activities. Schedule meetings and appointments for business development activities. Support relationship-building efforts with prospective and existing customers. Business Development & Sales Support Assist in promoting CVR's document scanning and digital records management services. Research and identify potential clients, including businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies. Support outreach efforts through phone calls, emails, networking events, and social media. Participate in introductory sales conversations and follow-up communications. Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. Track sales opportunities and maintain lead pipelines. Administrative Support Maintain organized marketing and business development files. Assist with community outreach events, networking opportunities, and fundraising activities. Complete special projects and administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and advancing CVR's mission. Preferred Experience managing social media accounts. Experience in customer service, marketing, fundraising, or sales. Familiarity with Canva, CRM systems, or social media scheduling platforms. Interest in nonprofit management and business development. Pay:
