Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative / Lead Generation Specialist to help generate qualified business opportunities and support company growth objectives. This position will research prospective clients and projects, conduct outbound outreach, qualify leads, maintain CRM information, and coordinate opportunities with Business Development and project teams. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is persistent, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other business development tools. Key Responsibilities Research and identify prospective clients, projects, and market opportunities Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, online research, industry databases, events, and outreach campaigns Conduct initial outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other approved communication channels Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other research tools to identify prospective clients and decision-makers Qualify leads and coordinate introductions with Business Development professionals and technical leaders Schedule meetings and presentations for Business Development staff and technical leaders Monitor public bid notices, industry publications, project announcements, and other sources for potential opportunities Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM and lead-tracking systems Track lead activity, follow-up actions, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics Assist with proposal pursuits by gathering prospect and project information Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, industry contacts, and other stakeholders Coordinate participation in conferences, industry associations, networking events, and community engagement activities Support marketing initiatives by identifying target audiences and providing market intelligence Assist with the development of lead-generation strategies and business development plans Provide regular updates regarding pipeline activity, opportunity status, and market trends Identify opportunities to improve lead-generation and business development processes Participate in training, professional development, and industry events Represent the company professionally and ethically in all client and community interactions Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in lead generation, sales, business development, marketing, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable making outbound phone calls and conducting business outreach Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities Persistent and self-motivated approach to business development Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with clients and industry professionals Preferred Qualifications Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, or another B2B environment Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator Sales Navigator or related sales/business development certification Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho Experience with marketing automation tools Familiarity with public bidding, construction projects, or professional services Core Competencies Relationship building and networking Lead generation and prospecting Effective verbal and written communication Customer service orientation Initiative and persistence Organization and attention to detail Time management and prioritization Problem-solving and resourcefulness Professionalism and accountability Collaboration and teamwork Adaptability and continuous learning Technical Skills Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho LinkedIn Sales Navigator Internet and database research tools Marketing automation tools preferred Ability to learn new software and technologies Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based environment Occasional travel for meetings, networking events, conferences, and client visits Frequent use of computers, phones, email, and virtual communication platforms Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday Ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 poundsPay:
