Freeport Marine Supply is looking for an accomplished Retail Salesperson who welcomes, directs, advises, serves, and provides information on products to customers. The Salesperson should also be able to offer suggestions and help the customer to make selections, as well as informing customers of upcoming sales. Providing support as needed for marketing, merchandising, inventory management, shipping and receiving is required. This is a great position for retired boaters, mechanics looking to get out of the bilge, charter boat captains interested in year round stability or seasoned boating veterans who want to spend their days talking about boats.

Qualifications:

Must have a general knowledge of boating and boating products. Understanding of specific boat systems such as engines,electrical, plumbing/sanitation, steering/controls or electronics is a plus. Adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line. Excellent people skills. Interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people. Presents key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing message on customer needs and expectations. Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility. Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job. General computer and internet skills required Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel encouraged.
