Cleveland Plumbing Supply (CPS), a family-owned plumbing and heating supplier with 10 branches in Northeast Ohio, has an immediate opening for a plumbing counter salesperson at their Mentor branch. A counter salesperson is a front line sales person to our walk-in traffic here at CPS. They will be required to gain a working knowledge of the products we sell that support the plumbing industry. Below are the primary responsibilities of the position. Must make the customer their primary responsibility. Greet customers promptly & courteously. A counter salesperson is the first impression of CPS that a customer sees. Responsible for learning the operation and procedures of the computer system. Responsible for learning the products sold at CPS to accurately fill customer requests. Pull merchandise for counter sales from the warehouse, transfer truck, and yard accurately. Answer telephone promptly & courteously. Handle telephone inquiries and orders promptly & accurately and follow up with additional information in a timely manner. Tow motor experience preferred. Must be able to lift 80lbs. Maintain merchandise displays in counter area (stock & clean). Maintain list of low or out of stock items. Must have a strong work ethic, be punctual, and be good with people. Perform other duties as assigned. Prior experience preferred but not required.

Hours:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm plus possible overtime
