We specialize in everything from standard flatbed, step-deck, and conestoga shipments to complex oversized and heavy haul loads up to 400,000 lbs. With more than 55 years in the industry, we have the reputation, relationships, and operational expertise to handle what others can't. We're growing — and we're looking for a driven inside sales professional to help us expand our shipper base from our Rootstown, Ohio office. Why This Role Matters As our Inside Sales Representative, you won't just be taking orders — you'll be building a book of business. You'll prospect, quote, close, and grow accounts across a wide range of industries that need open-deck and specialized freight solutions. This is a high-activity, relationship-driven role with real earning potential and a clear path to senior or outside sales. What You'll Do — Day to Day Conduct outbound prospecting via phone and email to identify and qualify new shipper accounts Build and manage a pipeline of freight opportunities using our CRM, tracking calls, quotes, and follow-ups Quote flatbed, step-deck, conestoga, and oversized/heavy haul rates; negotiate and close new business Develop long-term relationships with customers to maximize retention and identify upsell opportunities Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth load execution and customer satisfaction Stay current on market rates, competitor activity, and industry trends to sharpen your approach What We're Looking For 2+ years of B2B sales experience; freight, logistics, or transportation background strongly preferred Familiarity with open-deck modes (flatbed, step-deck, conestoga, oversized) is a plus Comfortable with high call/email volume and CRM-based pipeline management Strong negotiation and communication skills — you can build trust over the phone fast Self-starter who thrives with individual targets and also works well in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with a TMS or freight quoting tools is a bonus
