Job Description

Outside Sales Representative AISECO | Wadsworth, OH | Full-time | Base salary + uncapped commission A rare opportunity: step into an established territory, not a cold start. Our longtime sales representative is looking to transition into retirement, and we're looking for the right person to take over his accounts. This isn't a build-from-scratch role. You'll spend your first several months working directly alongside him — riding along on customer visits, learning our product lines, and being personally introduced to the relationships he's built over decades. When he retires, you inherit a warm, established book of business. If you've been selling spray equipment, filtration or paint and you're ready to own a territory with real earning upside, we'd like to talk. About
AISECO AISECO
is an independent industrial distributor serving manufacturers, finishers, and industrial end-users across Midwest. We supply spray equipment, coatings-related components, filtration products, and the parts and consumables that keep finishing operations running. A small team that actually works well together Everyone here knows what everyone else is working on, decisions get made in a conversation rather than a meeting, and the person who buys the product talks directly to the person selling it and the person shipping it. What you'll do Manage and grow an established territory of industrial accounts across Midwest Make regular in-person calls on existing customers to understand their operations and identify needs Prospect and develop new accounts within the coatings, finishing, and manufacturing sectors Quote products and negotiate within established pricing guidelines Serve as the technical point of contact for customers — recommending the right equipment, components, and consumables for their application Coordinate with our vendor partners on product selection, technical questions, and specialized applications Track opportunities and maintain accurate account records Attend occasional vendor training and industry events What we're looking for Required 3-5+ years of outside or inside B2B sales experience(Outside sales experience is preferred) Direct experience in one or more of: spray equipment, industrial paint and coatings, paint filtration, surface preparation, finishing systems, or closely adjacent industrial products Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships Comfort with technical product discussions and the ability to learn a broad catalog Valid driver's license and willingness to travel a regional territory (day trips, minimal overnight) Self-directed work style — you'll manage your own calendar and priorities Strongly preferred Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial finishing, or job shop environments Background with a coatings manufacturer, equipment manufacturer, or industrial distributor Existing relationships within the Midwest industrial community Familiarity with quoting, margin management, and consultative selling Mechanical aptitude — comfortable getting into the details of pumps, guns, regulators, filtration, and booth systems rather than referring every technical question back to the vendor Willingness to get your hands dirty on the plant floor — walking a finishing line, diagnosing a spray pattern issue, or working through a changeover alongside the customer A problem-solver's instinct: you'd rather spend an afternoon in the booth figuring out why a finish is failing than send an email and wait Genuine curiosity about how finishing systems work end to end — substrate prep through cure Not a fit if: your background is primarily retail, consumer, or B2C sales. This role requires understanding industrial buyers, technical specifications, and longer relationship-driven sales cycles. What we offer Competitive base salary of $60,000-$72,000 depending on experience. If you have more than 5 years' experience that can translate to upside to base pay. Uncapped tiered commission paid on gross margin — your earnings grow as the territory grows Realistic first-year earnings of $82,000-$97,000 on target, with meaningful upside beyond that for strong performers New account bonuses for every new customer you bring in Paid, hands-on transition with our retiring representative — a genuine head-start most sales roles don't offer Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement Industry leading health care coverage:
Health, Dental and Vision PTO:
Prorated paid time off and paid holidays.
Retirement Plan:
Simple IRA plan with 3% match (waiting period may apply). Direct access to ownership — no layers, no bureaucracy, fast decisions Vendor-sponsored product training to build your technical depth
