Essential Job Functions:
  • Communicate with PCC's outside sales team, customers, prospects and customer service daily.
  • Handle inbound technical calls, quotation requests, general questions & requests as well as issues or problems accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Make outbound calls and send emails to customers and prospects.
  • Work with customer service in effort to take care of customer needs and order processing.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads and quotations.
  • Understand customers' needs and help to identify sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell products through effective, honest and ethical sales techniques.
  • Prospecting & lead generation.
  • Gain an understanding of, and align with, company goals and target markets.
  • Commitment to continued product and market education.
  • Proper product to customer / prospect / market segment selling.
  • Help grow revenue with existing customer base through relational & situational selling.
  • Assist outside sales to regularly increase revenue through exceptional, knowledgeable and timely service.
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions as well as share information with management, peers and partners.
  • Use technology to maintain records of all sales leads, prospects, quotes, customer accounts and interactions, check pricing and stock availability as well as to research prospects, customers, products and markets.
  • Understand and support company policies and procedures to provide proper and effective communication to customers, management, other peers/employees.
  • Clarify and fulfill customer's requests/needs through the proper and professional presentation of the company's products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED or similar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial business to business, inside and or counter sales experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening, sales & problem-solving skills.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Accurate, detail oriented and team focused.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
