Job Description
Waste Connections, Inc. is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our GROWING Honey Brook, PA market area. This role is perfect for a driven, customer-focused professional who wants to build relationships and grow with an industry leader!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate effectively over email and phone with customers. Respond to customer inquiries- via phone and email to resolve customer issues. Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve issues, or complaints. Sufficient understanding of RMO and ARES, preferred. Coordinate the setup and installation of new accounts. Creates and closes out work orders. Analyze accountancy activity and suggest opportunities for service improvements to the customer. Maintain appropriate documentation, per company policy and internal controls. Reconcile customer balances and perform customer audits. Understand customers' aging balances and our local collections policy. Reach out to Broker Accounts with any past due balances Understand broker contract language such as, price increases, terms and conditions, service increases/decreases.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly explain products and services to customers. Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience working with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is a plus. Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively. Comfortable making outbound calls and handling inbound sales inquiries. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Prior inside sales, customer service, or call center experience preferred.Physical ability:
Able to complete sedentary work requiring prolonged sitting, able to complete repetitive motions such as typing/mouse use/operating a phone, ability to look at a screen for long periods of time, tolerate exposure to typical call center sounds and wearing a headset.
