Job Description
Sales Representative, Steel Warren, PA $125,000 to $150,000 per year An established organization in the steel processing and distribution industry is hiring an Account Manager / Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts. This role is a strong fit for a relationship-driven sales professional who understands account management, pricing, and inventory dynamics and wants to build new business alongside an existing customer base. Schedule Full time, with travel to customer locations and other business destinations as needed. Compensation $125,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do This role takes ownership of an established base of customer accounts, working to manage demand, inventory, pricing, and overall account performance while identifying and developing new, profitable business opportunities. The representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, building a strong understanding of their business, products, and ongoing requirements, and plans and conducts customer visits, sales calls, presentations, and commercial discussions, including negotiating pricing, volumes, and terms. The role works closely with purchasing, operations, and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met, monitors customer requirements to help coordinate inventory levels, and provides accurate sales forecasts while communicating changing customer and market conditions to leadership. The representative monitors account performance with a focus on profitable, sustainable growth and manages company resources and business expenses responsibly. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience Previous experience in account management, outside sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require Preferred Qualifications Steel industry experience, particularly within a steel service center, flat-rolled steel, metal processing, distribution, or related manufacturing environment Knowledge of flat-rolled steel products, customer applications, pricing dynamics, inventory management, and steel processing capabilities Experience selling to OEMs, fabricators, manufacturers, or other industrial customers Compensation and Benefits $125,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off To apply , submit your resume for consideration.
