Primarily remote, with one required weekly in-person meeting in Splendora, TX 77372 Pine & Steel Commercial Group LLC and Dual Action Trucking LLC are seeking a proactive, highly motivated, and very organized Business Development & Operations Coordinator to help drive growth, build strong client relationships, and keep business operations running smoothly. You will work directly with the owner to identify opportunities, turn plans into action, and improve the systems that support expansion. Your skills, ideas, and initiative will be welcomed and relied upon. We value someone who takes ownership, follows through consistently, and brings practical solutions to the table. Approximately 60% of your time will focus on Pine & Steel's commercial cleaning sales, marketing, and recruiting. The remaining 40% will support Dual Action's driver recruiting, onboarding, paperwork, and payroll administration. Business development, sales, and marketing Work with the owner to develop and carry out practical business development plans, identify new customer opportunities, and strengthen existing client relationships. Prospect through outbound calls, email, networking, referrals, and digital outreach to connect with business decision-makers. Understand prospective clients' cleaning needs, explain our services, and schedule walkthroughs with our general manager. Prepare proposals using approved pricing, discuss services and terms within owner-approved guidelines, and manage follow-up to help close recurring cleaning accounts. Keep lead records, customer communications, proposal status, and next steps organized using company-approved tracking tools. Maintain professional client relationships and coordinate new-client onboarding with the owner and general manager. Create and schedule branded Facebook content, manage business inquiries, and support approved Facebook advertising campaigns. Help establish and maintain a Google Business Profile. Work with the owner to evaluate Instagram, Google Ads, and outside marketing support as the marketing plan develops. Track outreach, qualified leads, walkthroughs, proposals, and new accounts. Prepare a concise weekly report on results, priorities, and opportunities for improvement. Recruiting, onboarding, and operations Create job postings, screen applications, conduct interviews, recommend candidates, and coordinate onboarding for both cleaners and truck drivers. The owner makes final hiring decisions. Organize bills of lading (BOLs), invoices, driver qualification files, and onboarding records. Track document expirations, missing information, and deadlines; follow up to keep records current. Prepare accurate driver settlements and payroll for owner review, and submit payments only after approval. Communicate with drivers, applicants, and team members to resolve paperwork questions and coordinate next steps. Improve checklists, filing systems, and repeatable procedures that help both businesses stay organized as they grow. Skills and qualifications Relevant experience in one or more of the following: business development, sales, marketing, recruiting, trucking administration, payroll, or QuickBooks. Confidence making outbound calls, speaking with business decision-makers and applicants, and following up professionally. Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to complete work independently. Working knowledge of Excel for tracking information, maintaining spreadsheets, checking figures, and preparing reports. Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to build productive client and working relationships. Ability to handle confidential customer, applicant, driver, and payroll information responsibly. Willingness to learn company procedures and software and contribute ideas for improvement. Experience with Canva, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, CRM or lead-tracking tools, or commercial cleaning is a plus. We welcome candidates with a strong foundation in relevant work and the motivation to build additional skills through training. Schedule, equipment, and compensation 24 paid hours per week initially, including training and the weekly planning meeting. Flexible scheduling coordinated with the owner, with some weekday business-hour availability for customer calls, interviews, and collaboration. $22-$25 per hour, based on relevant experience. Paid training and access to company QuickBooks, Canva, and cleaning software. A reliable personal computer, cell phone, and internet connection are required. Necessary equipment reimbursement may be considered with prior approval. Ability to attend one in-person planning meeting each week in Splendora, TX 77372. Employer-sponsored health insurance and paid time off are not offered initially.
