We are in a growth phase and focused on expanding our top-line revenue through new client development, stronger industry relationships, and increased market visibility. Position Summary We are seeking a driven and resourceful Business Development Representative (BDR) to support and expand our sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone early in their career or transitioning from another industry (including tech) who is motivated to build relationships, generate opportunities, and grow into a full sales role. You will work directly with leadership to: Identify and develop new business opportunities Schedule and coordinate client meetings Represent the company in meetings when leadership is unavailable Support pipeline growth and revenue generation This is a hands-on, high-impact role with clear visibility into how your work contributes to company growth. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Outreach Identify potential clients (schools, districts, architects, general contractors, theater consultants) Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and networking Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities Meeting Coordination & Support Schedule meetings, site visits, and presentations Prepare meeting materials and coordinate logistics Attend meetings independently when needed and represent the company professionally Sales Support Assist in tracking leads, opportunities, and follow-ups Support proposal development and client communications Maintain business development activities in NetSuite Market & Relationship Development Research industry trends and project opportunities Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Attend industry events, networking functions, and job walks Qualifications Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong follow-through Comfortable with outreach (email, phone, in-person) Self-starter with a proactive mindset Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally Preferred Bachelor's degree (Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field) Experience in sales, customer success, or business development Experience in construction, technical sales, or project-based environments (a plus) Familiarity with NetSuite Ideal Candidate Profile Curious, creative, tenacious, and goal-oriented self-starter Focused on expanding their skills personally and professionally Motivated by financial growth and performance rewards Comfortable stepping into meetings and representing a company Interested in learning a specialized industry (theatrical/technical systems) Looking for a career path into sales, account management, strategy development, and leadership objective Adaptable and willing to wear multiple hats Compensation & Growth Base salary + performance-based incentives/bonus $90K with potential to make $180K in first year of employment.
