Business Development & Sales Representative 249 Tank Farm Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Hybrid work From $80,000 a year - Full-time From $80,000 a year - Full-time We're a small, fast-moving hardware company based in SLO. We build Starlink mounting systems, portable power products, and mobile connectivity solutions for fleets, field teams, and off-grid pros. We're growing fast and need someone who already has the rolodex to open doors — not someone who's still building it. What you'll do Own the B2B sales pipeline — from first outreach to signed PO Leverage existing relationships in government, telecom, utilities, construction, and commercial fleet sectors to generate pipeline fast Identify and pursue OEM, fleet, and dealer partnership opportunities Work directly with the founder on pricing, deal structure, and custom quoting Represent Veritas at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits Provide market feedback that shapes roadmap and product direction Build out repeatable sales processes as we scale — you'll be setting the foundation Who we're looking for You have existing contacts in one or more of these verticals: federal/state/local government, telecom carriers or tower companies, utilities, first responder or emergency management, construction, or commercial fleet You've sold physical products or technology hardware — not just software You're comfortable working in an early-stage environment where the playbook isn't written yet You can close deals independently without hand-holding You understand Starlink, satellite connectivity, or mobile power — or you learn fast Strong communicator, low ego, high output Nice to have Experience selling into GSA contracts or understanding of government procurement Existing relationships with Starlink channel partners, RV/overland dealers, or fleet upfitters Background in utilities, public safety, or disaster response markets Technical enough to talk hardware without needing an engineer in every call Why join Sell products that actually solve real problems in the field — not vaporware Direct line to the founder — decisions happen fast Huge untapped market: government, utilities, and telecom are just getting started with Starlink-based mobile connectivity Equity discussion for the right candidate Based in
