What You'll Do You'll own new business development within your assigned territory — identifying prospects, building relationships with VP and Director-level decision-makers, and closing Staffing Services Agreements. For the first 12 months after each new client closes, you'll serve as the named account relationship owner, ensuring a strong start and a structured handoff to our Operations team. Day to day, that means: Proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities aligned with Arbor's growth strategy Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective clients Developing and delivering tailored proposals that speak to each client's specific needs Negotiating and closing Staffing Services Agreements Representing Arbor at industry conferences and events across Southern New England Leveraging LinkedIn and other tools to build Arbor's brand and deepen market presence Collaborating closely with Recruiting and Operations to ensure new clients are set up for success What You Bring 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or operations — ideally in healthcare, human services, education, or a related field A genuine understanding of the people and organizations that make up the behavioral health, allied health, and education sectors Strong interpersonal skills and a propensity for listening over talking Self-motivation and the ability to work independently within a defined process Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and workplace technology Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle — travel across Southern New England is part of the role A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred Why You'll Love Working at Arbor Associates Arbor Associates offers a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life and disability coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program.
