Fluid Technology Sales Representative (Ohio)
Work Arrangement:
Remote / Home Office with
Local Travel Compensation:
Base salary starting around $100K + uncapped commission (targeting aggressive earners) First-year income can be structured with a guaranteed base for the right candidate Company truck + mileage support About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established and growing provider of fluid handling and pump solutions, is seeking a Fluid Technology Sales Representative to cover Western Michigan. This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role with strong earning potential and the opportunity to build and grow a territory with both existing and new accounts. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys solving customer problems, and thrives in a relationship-driven, outside sales environment. What You'll Be Doing Build and grow a defined territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts Partner with customers to understand needs and recommend equipment, parts, and service solutions Drive equipment and solution-based sales within industrial and municipal markets Prepare quotes, pricing, and proposals, including terms, warranties, and delivery timelines Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction Prospect and cold call decision-makers to develop new opportunities Maintain strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to customers What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of sales experience (industrial, mechanical, or technical sales preferred) Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and recommend technical solutions Comfortable with cold calling and building a territory from the ground up Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed sales goals Ability to work independently from a home office within Western Michigan Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Why This Opportunity Stands Out High-growth territory with strong support and existing accounts to build from Uncapped earning potential with the ability to transition into a commission-heavy structure Company vehicle provided Stable, growth-oriented organization with a strong reputation in the market Clear path for long-term career growth
