The Inside Sales Representative manages customer accounts and renewals in a customer-facing inside-sales capacity. This role serves as a professional point of contact for customers while ensuring renewals are completed on time and supporting account growth through expansion and add-on sales. The successful candidate will build trusted customer relationships, respond promptly to customer needs, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals. The role combines renewal management, account management, and expansion selling. Representatives currently support production machine spray products, with assignments potentially expanding to mold and die. The role requires independent ownership of assigned accounts and consistent customer follow-through in a remote work environment. Job Responsibilities What You'll Do
  • Manage assigned customer territories, accounts, and contracts, maintaining strong relationships and consistent follow-through.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for customers and respond to customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer retention and renewals, ensuring renewal activity is proactively followed up and renewals are completed on time.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities within assigned accounts for expansions and add-on sales while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Manage contract-related activities, including renewal support, customer follow-up, documentation, and coordination of next steps.
  • Support quoting and sales administration activities, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered to customers promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account information in CRM systems, including Salesforce when applicable.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook to organize account activity, communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, and track follow-up.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and internal stakeholders to resolve customer needs, coordinate account activities, and support sales objectives.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities while contributing to a small, collaborative team environment focused on mutual learning and growth.
  • Adapt to complex products, systems, customer requirements, and changing priorities while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Work toward individual and team sales goals across renewals, account management, expansions, and add-on sales. Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in an inside-sales, account-management, sales-support, or customer-facing sales environment.
  • Customer relationship management experience with demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Account management experience, including ownership of customer needs, follow-up, and ongoing engagement.
  • Territory management experience and the ability to organize and prioritize activity across multiple accounts.
  • Contract management experience, including customer communication, renewals, follow-up, or related administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional communication style.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and remain accountable for results.
  • Customer service and relationship management experience.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and support customer retention initiatives.
  • Strong goal orientation, self-motivation, and resilience in a sales environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while also taking independent ownership of assigned work. Preferred Experience
  • Salesforce experience.
  • CRM management and customer data maintenance.

  • Experience selling products, solutions, or services in a customer-facing sales environment.
  • Experience with recurring revenue, maintenance, subscription, renewal, expansion, or add-on sales.
  • Customer retention, renewals, recoveries, or account management experience.
  • Experience supporting or working within a customer-facing sales organization.
Team & Work Approach This position joins a customer-focused sales team responsible for renewals, account management, and account growth. Team members are expected to take ownership of their assigned accounts while collaborating with colleagues to support customer needs and sales objectives.
