Hoenle Adhesives Americas is part of the publicly traded Hoenle Group and supports a growing adhesives and UV curing equipment business across the U.S. and Americas. We provide technical adhesive solutions and UV curing equipment to B2B customers in industries including Electronics, Medical, Optics, and other high-growth markets. We are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our Territory Managers and help keep customer opportunities moving forward. Our Territory Managers spend significant time traveling throughout their assigned regions, meeting with customers and developing new business. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with them to provide consistent customer follow-up, manage day-to-day sales activities, coordinate internal resources, and ensure opportunities continue progressing between customer visits. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, is comfortable learning technical products and applications, and is interested in developing a career in B2B technical sales. For the right candidate, the role can also provide a strong foundation for future growth into a Territory Manager position. Key Responsibilities Support Territory Managers with day-to-day sales activities and customer follow-up. Serve as an additional point of contact for customers when Territory Managers are traveling or unavailable. Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations in coordination with Territory Managers. Respond to select incoming customer inquiries and determine whether they can be handled internally or require Territory Manager or technical support. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity, quotation, and activity information within MS Dynamics CRM System. Work with Application Engineering to coordinate technical recommendations, testing, and customer support. Coordinate with Customer Service regarding availability, orders, lead times, and customer requests. Support Territory Managers with preparation for customer visits, including account history, open quotations, current projects, and previous communications. Provide ongoing communication between customers and Territory Managers to ensure projects do not stall while the Territory Manager is on the road. Support Territory Managers with sales forecasting and product-level demand planning to help improve inventory availability, product flow, and on-time delivery. Work across our U.S. and German teams to help ensure effective communication between sales, customer service, logistics, and production. Experience 1-3 years of experience in industrial inside sales, customer service, account support, sales coordination, or another customer-facing role. B2B experience in an International business environments is a plus Experience working with manufacturing, industrial products, adhesives, chemicals, medical devices, electronics, or other technical products would be a plus, but not required. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and Teams/Zoom. Experience preparing quotations, following up on opportunities, coordinating samples, and supporting outside sales representatives is preferred. Familiarity with a CRM or ERP system is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer projects and follow-ups at the same time. Interest in learning technical products and understanding customer applications. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field preferred, but not required. Ideal Candidate & Work Location The ideal candidate would be able to work in person from our Torrington, Connecticut location, allowing for close collaboration with the sales and application engineering teams. For candidates interested in developing toward a field sales position, there may be potential to transition into a Territory Manager role in the future, based on demonstrated performance, business needs, and mutual fit. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
