Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our growing trailer manufacturing business in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or inside sales, particularly in the construction equipment industry. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, effective communication, and the ability to drive sales through excellent service. Responsibilities:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Handle inbound inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Develop a deep understanding of our trailer products, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate this information to customers. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, convert inquiries into sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Conduct outbound sales activities, including proactive follow-ups, lead generation, and order processing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales orders, reports, and other relevant documentation using our CRM system. Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and any other inquiries or concerns they may have. Coordinate with production, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of trailers to customers. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, escalating complex matters as necessary. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively address customer needs and maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal processes, enhance the customer experience, and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in the construction equipment industry. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales activities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work. Knowledge of trailers, their applications, and relevant regulations is a plus. Familiarity with Southern California's construction industry and customer base is advantageous.
Compensation:
Competitive salary for this position, with an anticipated range of $55,000-$65,000 will be commensurate with prior experience. Discretionary-bonus and commission structure is anticipated with this role and will be defined as agreed upon between the employee and the Company.
