This position is responsible for generating new business, developing community partnerships, and booking corporate events, team-building experiences, school outings, youth groups, fundraisers, birthday celebrations, private events, and other group functions. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, confident in sales, and excited to represent a fast-paced entertainment venue in the community. Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new business throughout Brevard County and surrounding areas. Build relationships with corporations, schools, churches, youth organizations, sports teams, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, military groups, and local businesses. Generate qualified leads through phone calls, email outreach, networking, community events, site visits, social media, and referrals. Respond promptly and professionally to incoming group and event inquiries. Learn each client's goals, group size, budget, and event needs. Recommend appropriate attraction packages, event spaces, food and beverage options, and event enhancements. Prepare customized proposals, quotes, contracts, and event itineraries. Conduct facility tours and client meetings. Follow up consistently with prospective clients to secure bookings. Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate client records in HubSpot. Collect required booking information, deposits, final guest counts, and event details. Coordinate event information with Route 7's management, operations, kitchen, and event teams. Reconnect with past clients to generate repeat and referral business. Attend networking events, expos, chamber events, school functions, and community activities as a Route 7 representative. Develop partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising opportunities, and promotional collaborations. Meet or exceed established monthly and quarterly sales goals. Track outreach activity, booked revenue, conversion rates, and upcoming opportunities. Provide professional follow-up after events to encourage reviews, referrals, and future bookings. Qualifications Previous experience in outside sales, event sales, hospitality, entertainment, tourism, business development, or customer service is preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Confident speaking with business leaders, school administrators, community organizations, and event planners. Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and events simultaneously. Self-motivated, dependable, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Professional appearance and positive, enthusiastic attitude. Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, CRM systems, and basic sales-reporting tools. Experience with HubSpot is helpful but not required. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally for meetings and community outreach. Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends to attend networking events, tours, and major client functions. What Success Looks Like Consistently generating new qualified leads.
