Job Description

The Sales Coordinator connects manufacturer representatives, customers, and internal teams to ensure sales priorities and customer needs are effectively communicated and executed. This role coordinates sales activities, tracks performance, manages projects and follow-up, and keeps cross-functional teams aligned. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive communicator who can manage multiple priorities, drive accountability, and ensure that commitments to customers and sales partners are followed through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Coordination Serve as the primary day-to-day coordination point between manufacturer representatives, customers, and internal teams. Ensure customer requests, sales opportunities, product information, pricing, and commitments are communicated accurately and in a timely manner. Support manufacturer representatives with the information, tools, reporting, and follow-up needed to drive sales. Coordinate customer meetings, sales presentations, product launches, line reviews, and follow-up activities. Identify open issues and proactively drive them toward resolution. Project Management Manage sales-related projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and follow-up. Coordinate activities across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and other functional teams. Maintain project trackers and communicate status, risks, action items, and deadlines. Ensure cross-functional commitments are clearly assigned and completed on time. Sales Performance & Reporting Track sales goals, forecasts, customer performance, and manufacturer representative performance. Maintain accurate sales dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into performance against objectives. Monitor sales activity, open opportunities, customer commitments, and key performance indicators. Highlight gaps to plan and work with the appropriate teams to develop corrective actions. Prepare regular sales performance updates and presentations for leadership and sales teams. Communication & Follow-Through Establish clear communication rhythms with manufacturer representatives and internal stakeholders. Document decisions, action items, and next steps following meetings. Follow up on outstanding items and ensure accountability across teams. Escalate issues when necessary and help facilitate timely resolution. Become a trusted resource for both external sales partners and internal functional teams.
Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in sales coordination, sales operations, project management, customer service, or a related field. Experience working with customers, sales representatives, or channel partners preferred. Experience tracking sales performance and managing cross-functional projects. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
