Sales Development Representative (SDR) Lightspeed Voice is a leading provider of AI-powered VoIP solutions, specializing in delivering scalable, flexible, and reliable communication services to businesses across the country. With a focus on innovation and customer success, we help organizations streamline their communications and drive business growth. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a critical role in generating qualified leads and building the sales pipeline. Job Summary The Sales Development Representative is responsible for outbound prospecting to identify and engage with potential customers. This role requires a proactive and persistent individual who can effectively communicate our value proposition and qualify leads to hand off to the Regional Account Manager (RAM) team. Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling, to generate new business opportunities. Research and identify potential leads within target markets and industries. Engage with prospects to understand their needs, qualify their interest, and determine if they are a good fit for our products or services. Effectively communicate our company's value proposition and unique selling points. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and lead information in our CRM system (MS Dynamics). Work closely with the RAM team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and opportunities. Meet/Exceed all KPI's Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications Required:
High School diploma. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects quickly. A persistent, resilient, and goal-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, Sugar, HubSpot).
Preferred:
Previous experience in a sales or sales development role. Experience with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Clay, Zoominfo). Familiarity with the UCaaS, MSP, and VoIP market and sales cycles. Why Lightspeed Voice?
