Perform additional sales and market-development responsibilities as assigned.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
International sales experience.
Distribution-channel sales experience.
Business-development or new-market-development experience.
Experience identifying and developing new customers, distributors, or end users.
Strong business-analysis and market-analysis capabilities.
Ability to evaluate markets, competitors, prospects, and commercial opportunities.
Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately one to two weeks per month.
Ability to accept employment without violating an existing non-compete or other contractual obligation.
Preferred QualificationsMBA or another advanced business degree.
Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience within the polymers, plastics, resins, chemicals, or petrochemicals industries.
International chemical, resin, polymer, or plastics sales experience.
Experience developing both distributor and end-user relationships.
Experience successfully developing new countries, territories, or international markets.
Foreign-language skills relevant to assigned markets.
Candidates with fewer total years of experience may be considered when they offer a strong combination of international sales, distribution, business analysis, and demonstrated new-market development experience.
