Comfort Advisor - HVAC Sales David Taylor Heating & Air | Anderson, SC Full-Time | Residential HVAC Sales Position Summary David Taylor Heating & Air is looking for an experienced, motivated HVAC Comfort Advisor to join our team in Anderson, SC. The Comfort Advisor is responsible for meeting with homeowners, evaluating their comfort needs, educating them on HVAC replacement and upgrade options, and helping them select the best solution for their home and budget. This is a consultative sales position , not a high-pressure sales role. We are looking for someone who can build trust with homeowners, confidently present options, close sales, and provide an excellent customer experience from the initial appointment through installation. Key Responsibilities Run company-provided residential HVAC replacement and sales leads. Meet with homeowners to identify comfort concerns, equipment needs, and budget considerations. Evaluate existing HVAC systems and recommend appropriate replacement or upgrade options. Perform accurate measurements and gather information needed to properly quote HVAC systems. Present multiple equipment and financing options to customers. Clearly explain system features, benefits, warranties, efficiency ratings, and available upgrades. Prepare professional proposals and estimates. Follow up on outstanding estimates and unsold opportunities. Consistently work toward company sales, revenue, and close-rate goals. Build trust with customers through professional, honest, and knowledgeable recommendations. Coordinate sold jobs with the installation and office teams. Ensure job information and customer expectations are accurately communicated prior to installation. Maintain accurate customer, lead, estimate, and sales information in the company's CRM. Follow established sales processes and company pricing guidelines. Maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process. Identify opportunities for indoor air quality products and other appropriate comfort solutions. Participate in sales meetings, training, coaching, and performance reviews. Maintain strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, products, financing programs, rebates, and industry trends. What We're Looking For Previous HVAC sales, Comfort Advisor, or residential in-home sales experience strongly preferred . HVAC industry knowledge is highly preferred. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. Strong communication and presentation skills. Comfortable discussing pricing and financing with homeowners. Ability to explain technical HVAC information in a way customers can easily understand. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Self-motivated and driven by measurable results. Comfortable being held accountable for sales KPIs and performance goals. Professional appearance and customer-first attitude. Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to the team. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. What Success Looks Like The successful Comfort Advisor will: Maintain a strong closing percentage. Consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals. Provide customers with multiple appropriate options. Follow up consistently on unsold estimates. Maintain accurate information in the CRM. Produce quality sales that transition smoothly to the installation department. Minimize cancellations and customer misunderstandings. Maintain high customer satisfaction. Participate in ongoing coaching and sales development. Represent David Taylor Heating & Air professionally in every customer's home.
