Job Summary We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a local custom home builder in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys supporting a sales team, interacting with homeowners, and contributing to a positive homebuilding experience from first contact through design selections. The Sales Coordinator will work closely with residential construction and sales professionals who take pride in helping customers plan, design, and build custom homes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is adaptable, organized, and comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative, service-oriented team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist sales representatives with lead cultivation, follow-up activities, and general sales process support.
- Meet and greet customers through in-person visits, phone calls, and other customer interactions.
- Help customers with interior design selections and provide a professional, welcoming experience.
- Maintain finish samples, displays, and model home appearance to support a polished customer presentation.
- Support the sales team by helping streamline processes, organize information, and improve the customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with construction, sales, and design-related team members to help homeowners move through the planning and selection process. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$20 to $22 per hour.- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
Schedule:
Weekdays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.- One Saturday off per month. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support sales representatives with lead farming, customer follow-up, and sales coordination.
- Greet and assist prospective customers in person and by phone.
- Help customers with interior design selections and finish sample review.
- Maintain model home appearance, finish samples, and sales presentation areas.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in sales support, customer service, retail, design assistance, administrative support, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and professional experience for homeowners.
- Ability to work well with a team of residential construction professionals.
- Adaptable, quick to learn, and comfortable working with limited supervision.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to support the success of the sales team without being directly responsible for sales.
- Interest in residential construction, custom homes, design selections, or the homebuilding process. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, real estate, interior design, showroom support, or new home sales support.
- Familiarity with finish selections, design samples, model home presentation, or customer appointment coordination.
- Prior experience supporting a sales team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
