- Responsible for the execution of the HealthSpring strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention, and sales growth.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- + Bachelor degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR Master Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience + Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff + Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals + Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and Consumer Markets products + Marketing skills + Consultative skills + Training skills Interviewing and selection skills + Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing + Knowledge and skills of PC applications such as Microsoft office and databases + •Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity•
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- + Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products) + Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures
- Customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred + Proven ability to foster and manage working relationships with Brokers and Providers to obtain buy-in and drive results.
