The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth within the steel and aluminum production and fabrication market. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the company's overall sales strategy. The position requires a proactive, results-driven professional who can effectively analyze market trends, meet sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service while reporting performance to the Executive Vice President of Sales.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed established sales targets. Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within the steel and aluminum fabrication industry. Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business retention. Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports as required by the Executive Vice President. Monitor monthly sales performance and take corrective action as needed to achieve goals. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Analyze sales data, market conditions, and industry trends to support business decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements and production capabilities are aligned. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using company systems. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President.REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close sales opportunities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively respond to customers, regulatory agencies, and business stakeholders. Strong understanding of the steel and/or aluminum industry and market trends. Ability to prioritize tasks and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP systems. Mechanical aptitude and general technical understanding of fabricated products. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.QUALIFICATIONS 3-5
years of related sales experience required. Experience in steel or aluminum fabrication industry strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. Strong computer and technical skills required.WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMWORK ENVIRONMENT
