Overview:

The position of Route Sales for Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company (MPM) requires that an individual be able to physically and safely perform the necessary functions of driving, delivering, stocking and ordering the wide range of products that the Company sells. The position requires the ability to perform tasks on your own without supervision and be able to communicate with both fellow co-workers and others outside of the organization.

Job Requirements:

Education

• high school or equivalent preferred License
• Must be able to obtain a Class B drivers' license and qualify for coverage as a driver under company insurance Physical
• Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day as well as be able to climb stairs and climb in and out of trucks Skills
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and be able to learn basic route delivery functions. Mental
• Must be able to adapt to daily conditions and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

Must show reliability and promptness on a daily basis

The Route Sales position is a 40 +

• working hours per week.

Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company is a family owned distributorship for Purity Dairy, Mayfield Dairy Farms and other brands and is located in Murfreesboro, TN. It was founded in 1929, and recent growth has routes covering parts of four states in the Mid South region.

About the position:

MPM looking to create an ice cream route sales support position for our new growth in the West TN market. The branch is located in Lexington and covers much of the region outside of Memphis. Class B CDL holders will get priority attention as we look to support our current route staff and customers in the market.
