Music & Arts is seeking passionate Music Sales Advisors to connect students, parents, and educators with the right instruments, accessories, and services. In this retail role, you'll greet customers, assess musical needs, recommend band and orchestra instruments, manage rentals, and promote lessons and repairs. You'll maintain product displays, handle transactions, and support school service programs. Working in a collaborative, student-focused environment, you'll help grow music education in your community while developing sales, product, and customer service skills with a mission-driven national leader. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide consultative music product recommendations Assess student, parent, and educator needs for instruments and accessories Support and process band and orchestra instrument rentals and sales Promote and enroll customers in private music lessons and repair services Maintain merchandising standards, signage, and in-store product displays Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems Collaborate with store and school service teams to meet sales goals Build relationships with local schools, educators, and community partners Stay current on product features, promotions, and financing options Assist with inventory management, stocking, and store opening/closing tasks Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point of sale (POS) systems Product knowledge - band and orchestra instruments Instrument rentals processing Merchandising and display setup Cash handling and reconciliation Lesson and repair service enrollment Basic music theory and instrument families knowledge Communication and relationship building
